Vancouver Neighbourhood
An east-side stretch of brick warehouses and mural-lined lanes where old industry has settled into new creative life.
Mount Pleasant VE sits east of Main Street, a neighbourhood shaped by its industrial bones — brick low-rises and converted warehouses now home to breweries, studios, and small offices alongside longstanding residential blocks. Main Street itself remains the area's spine, mixing cafes, shops, and restaurants with a still-unpolished, working character that gives the area its identity.
Housing here ranges from character houses and duplexes on quieter side streets to newer condo and townhouse developments closer to the commercial corridors. It's a walkable, transit-connected part of the city, drawing residents who want proximity to downtown without losing a distinct, neighbourhood-scale feel.
